About Hoss Charters
Discover the Hoss Experience
Hoss Bowfishing Charters was built on a simple idea — give people an authentic Louisiana fishing experience without the hassle. Located in Hopedale, right in the heart of some of the best fishing waters in the state, Hoss offers more than just a trip — it delivers a full, all-inclusive experience from start to finish.
Founded on a deep respect for the outdoors and a passion for life on the water, Hoss is rooted in tradition, hard work, and southern hospitality. Every trip is designed to be easy, exciting, and accessible, whether you’re a first-timer or someone who’s spent years outdoors. From the moment you arrive, everything is taken care of — the boat, the gear, the guidance, and even the place to stay.
At Hoss, it’s not just about the catch. It’s about the experience. The late nights under the lights, the adrenaline of the shot, the laughs with your group, and the stories you’ll tell long after it’s over. It’s about bringing family and friends together, stepping away from the everyday, and making memories out on the water.
This is more than fishing.
This is the Hoss experience.

MEET CAPTAIN ANDREW
Born and raised on these Louisiana waters, Captain Andrew brings a lifetime of experience to every trip. What started as a way of life has grown into a passion for sharing the marsh with others, guiding guests through an environment he knows like the back of his hand. From reading water conditions to understanding fish movement, his knowledge isn’t learned — it’s lived.
Captain Andrew combines expert technical skill with a deep, firsthand understanding of the local ecosystem, giving every group the advantage of experience that only comes from years on the water. Whether it’s your first time or your hundredth, he knows how to put you in the right place at the right time.
More than just a captain, he’s someone who truly enjoys what he does — making sure every trip is not only successful, but something you’ll remember long after you leave. From families and first-timers to seasoned outdoorsmen, Captain Andrew creates an environment that’s comfortable, exciting, and built around the experience just as much as the catch.

The Fleet
At Hoss Bowfishing Charters, both of our boats are custom-built and identical — designed with purpose, precision, and performance in mind to give every group the same top-tier experience on the water.
Each boat is 24 feet long and 96 inches wide, providing a stable, spacious platform that allows your group to move comfortably and shoot with confidence. Built specifically for the Louisiana marsh, these boats are made to handle shallow water, tight access points, and ever-changing conditions with ease.
Powered by twin Gator-Tail 40XD Pro engines, our boats can reach areas others simply can’t — getting you into the shallowest waters where the action really happens. Mounted between them is a Suzuki 300, delivering smooth, fast runs across open water. This unique setup means less time traveling and more time fishing.
From the layout to the power, every detail is built around one goal — putting you in the best position possible for an unforgettable trip.
